Mint Resorts & Apartments secured the property management rights to Rhapsody Apartment Hotel in St Kilda Rd Melbourne in 2011. The interior designer for this corporate accommodation property chose to develop a themed hotel incorporating music and dance concepts consistent with the building name Rhapsody. Key to the building fit out and theming was the selection and use of over 300 individual art pieces which were provided by Smart Art Direct Global.

With 145 individual rooms and the associated common areas all requiring a range of artwork designs both Koula and Tim made the process an easy and enjoyable one. Their positive “can do” attitude never wavered, not only delivering on an incredibly tight timeline but going above and beyond by installing the paintings themselves the night before the first guests checked in.
